Business Director
Terra Lackey, Business Director and Founder of Modern Care, She has held positions in accounting, payroll and benefits administration since 1986. She has dealt on personal level with the medical, financial and emotional issues resulting from her husband’s brain injury. She is very active on a state level to help influence advancement of care for brain-injured patients. She is a board member of the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky and president South Central chapter.
Executive Director
William Kirk, M.D., our Executive Director, was John’s personal physician. He has experience dealing effectively with the complex medical issues relating to the treatment of patients with neurologic, behavioral and general medical conditions requiring rehabilitative services. His focus is on preventive as well as ongoing acute and chronic medical conditions. He is the recipient of the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky Star Award in appreciation for his service to brain injury survivors.
Program Director
Stacey Jewell, our Program Director, is John’s daughter. She has had many years of practical experience as director of operations, caring for handicapped individuals under the Medicaid SCL and ABI waiver programs.
Medical Director
Trina Sandusky, R.N., our Medical Director,is a Registered Nurse with years of experience in many areas of healthcare, notably in Home Health Nursing and finding appropriate care and placement for the patients she has served. She is the recipient of the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky Star Award in appreciation for her service to brain injury survivors. She is former President of the Chamber of Commerce of Lebanon, KY and has participated in Leadership Campbellsville, KY. She is also a board member of the South Central Chapter of the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky.
